System requirements

• Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10
• No other operating system supported!

How to use VGG Caddy

Using VGG Caddy is pretty simple, follow these steps:

1. Download VGG Caddy.
   
   
2. Unzip downloaded zip file to directory of you choice.
   
   
3. Use built in configuration window (click on "C" button) to modify application settings (much more features in the PRO version), or open the configuration file VGGCaddy.ini and change settings manualy. 
   
   
4. Start WGT game. It is highly recommended to start the game in the windowed mode, it runs much faster and without lagging as in fullscreen mode or in resized window. Default VGG Caddy size matches the default game window perfectly (tested in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome) and everything works without any problems right from the start. If you use any other game window size to play WGT, then you must modify scale size (see below).
   
   
5. Start VGG Caddy and drag it with your mouse so, that the scale matches shot meter in the WGT game window (see bellow).
   
   
6. Clicking on "S" button switches to "shot" mode, resp. changes shot type. Scroll mouse wheel over the "S" button to change the shot length.
   
   
7. Clicking on "P" button switches to "putt" mode. Scroll mouse wheel over the "P" button to change the putt lenght.
   
   
8. Clicking on the "%" button switches to WGT Putter Pal like scale.
   
   
9. Clicking on the "C" button opens configuration window (with much more features accessible in PRO version).
   
   
10. Clicking on the "_" button minimizes the scale to the windows task bar.
    
    
11. In the WGT window make your shot.
    
    
12. Clicking on the "%", "C", "X" or "_" button with your right mouse button hides/shows the scale so, that only buttons remain visible, the scale is hidden. This is the fast way to hide the scale, if you don't want to use it in your next shot, for example on your drives. This feature is available only int the PRO version.
    
    
13. You can click and hold your left mouse button over any button and drag the VGG Caddy on the screen. This is the best and fastest way to position VGG Caddy precisely over the WGT game window.
    
    
14. Clicking on the "P" button with your right mouse button changes the green speed, which leads to different putter scale sizes (only in PRO version).
    
    
15. Use shift, ctrl and alt + left mouse click for fast shot type switching (only in the PRO version).
    
    
16. If you don't use some of the buttons, you can hide them easily in the configurtion window (only in the PRO version).
    
    
17. Clicking on the "N" button opens the Notepad for storing your notes and ideas.

How to position VGG Caddy window

1. Start the VGG Caddy.
2. Drag the scale by "holding" any of the scale buttons with your left mouse button so, that the scale perfectly matches the WGT meter.
3. You can change the size of the scale in the configuration window (if you play in the fullscreen mode or resized window mode).

Here is the content of the standard VGGCaddy.ini configuration file. If contains settings for windowed WGT game mode and WGT Starter clubs.If you use other clubs then WGT Starters, then modify settings in the [clubs] section, but be carefull, don't add or remove any settings and don't add any unnecessary spaces. Later will be sample ini files for other clubs available for download in the download section.

Command line parameters

VGGCaddy.exe ini=YourIniFile.ini

ini ... start the Caddy with the different ini file (for example with different club sets). The ini file must be in the same directory as the exe file.
